Frequently asked questions
How much does it cost to rent the RCF ART 912-A speakers in Lyon?
The price covers the pair, with its stands and covers. It depends on the rental length, from one to seven days, and the price per day goes down as the rental gets longer: the amount for each length and the excess are shown on this page. The excess is paid on site at handover and refunded after the check on return. Damage and theft insurance is included in the price, as for cameras and drones.
Do the RCF ART 912-A speakers have Bluetooth?
No. Each RCF ART 912-A speaker has XLR and jack inputs and an XLR output, with no wireless link. For a phone or a computer, bring a mini-jack to two 6.35 mm jacks cable, or to XLR: it is not supplied.
Do the RCF ART 912-A speakers need an amplifier?
No: they are active speakers. Each RCF ART 912-A has its own built-in amplifier, 2100 W peak. Just plug it into the mains and connect your source.
Is the RCF ART 912-A pair a complete sound system?
No. Fox Rider rents the pair of RCF ART 912-A speakers on its own, with its 2 stands, 2 covers and 2 power cables: no subwoofer, no mixing desk. The same pair is also available as a pack with the RCF SUB 15-AX subwoofer. Its inputs are line level, so a microphone cannot be plugged in directly: the Shure SM58 microphone (XLR cable supplied) is available as an option with the Pioneer XDJ-RX3, which has two mic inputs. The Technics SL-1210 MK2 turntables and the Pioneer XDJ-RX3 are rented separately, with the pack discount.
Do you deliver the RCF ART 912-A speakers?
Not by post: pickup in Lyon 3, or optional delivery and collection at the venue (60 € + 3 €/km, up to 100 km). Pickup every day from 9 am to 8 pm, by appointment made in advance; the exact address is sent with the order confirmation.
How do I transport the RCF ART 912-A pair?
Each RCF ART 912-A speaker weighs 19.5 kg and measures 370 × 642 × 363 mm. Plan a car with an empty boot or folded rear seats, and two people to carry them.
How long can I keep the RCF ART 912-A pair?
From 1 to 7 days. There is only one pair in our fleet: book early for a weekend.
Can I rent turntables with the RCF ART 912-A pair?
Yes. Rented for the same dates, the second item gets 20% off and the third 30% off, always on the cheapest ones. The Technics SL-1210 MK2 turntables and the Pioneer XDJ-RX3 are picked up at the same place, in Lyon.
