What you get with our Damage & Theft cover

See the deposit

Included in the price, our Damage & Theft cover — provided with our partner Tulip — steps in if the worst happens. On a covered claim, your liability stops at the item's security deposit: €100 to €150 for a camera, €150 to €250 for a drone. That deposit is the only amount you can lose on a covered claim; otherwise it comes straight back to you.

Theft

You're covered if the gear is stolen through break-in or assault during your rental.

Damage

Accidental damage is covered — film, fly and print without the stress.

Report within 48 h

Something went wrong? Tell us within 48 h and we'll handle the claim with you, start to finish.

Damage & theft cover is included in your rental. On a covered claim your liability is limited to the security deposit: €100 to €150 for a camera, €150 to €250 for a drone. We take care of the rest.

How do I rent video equipment from Fox Rider?

Go to fox-rider.com, choose your gear (GoPro, drone, 360° camera, instax instant camera), pick your rental dates and confirm your booking online. You can collect the equipment in Lyon or have it delivered anywhere in France.

How much does it cost to rent a GoPro in Lyon?

GoPro rental at Fox Rider starts at just a few euros a day, accessories included. Check each product page for the exact price by model and rental length.

Do you deliver outside Lyon?

Yes, Fox Rider delivers throughout France. We ship by tracked courier with a prepaid return. Delivery is also available across the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region (Saint-Étienne, Grenoble, Annecy, Chambéry, Valence).

Is a security deposit required to rent a DJI drone?

Yes. The security deposit is separate from the rental price: €150 for the DJI Mini 4 Pro, €250 for the DJI Mini 5 Pro; for a camera, €100 to €150 depending on the model. It is taken when you order, then returned in full within five working days once the gear is back and checked. Damage and theft cover is included in the price; the deposit is only at risk on a covered claim. The amount is shown again when you book.

Can I rent an instax instant camera for a wedding?

Absolutely. Our Fujifilm instax instant cameras (mini, WIDE Evo) are very popular for weddings, birthdays and private events: your guests leave with their memories printed on the spot. Book early to be sure of availability.
