Wedding video: your videographer in Lyon and anywhere in France

Who is this service for?

For couples who want to see and hear their day again: the vows, the speeches, the laughter, the first dance. I film on site for the length of time set in the quote, and we decide together what the wedding video should tell.

Fox Rider rents cameras all year round: the gear used on the shoot is our own. Depending on the venue, a 360 camera set in the middle of the room films everything without a camera operator, and a drone can add a few shots of the estate — only if the regulations and the venue allow it. Based in Lyon, I work anywhere in France.

What is included

• Filming on the big day

  My presence for the length of time set in the quote, with my own filming gear. The moments to film — ceremony, speeches, first dance — are listed with you before the wedding.

• Your footage

  The footage I shoot is handed over to you. Edited film or raw files: say so in your request. Editing is an option, priced separately on the same quote.

• A free set of photo prints

  Every service includes a free set of photo prints. Its size depends on the event and is confirmed in writing together with your quote: you know it before you accept.

• A single point of contact

  Photo, video, 360 capture, DJ, sound and lighting: it all goes through the same quote. For sound and lighting, I rely on my partner VLK Events, in Lyon; you keep one contact only, from the first message to delivery.

How it works

1. 01

   You request a quote

   Online, in five steps: the venue, the date, the times, what you want. The “A wedding” context is already selected when you arrive from this page.

2. 02

   We prepare the shoot

   I check my diary and the feasibility, then we settle the running order: the order of the ceremony, who gives a speech and when, the first dance, the constraints of the venue. For aerial shots, I check the map and the permissions before pricing. You receive a quote worked out by hand.

3. 03

   The big day

   I am on site at the agreed time and I follow the schedule we prepared together. Drone shots, if they are possible, are filmed away from the guests, before or after the key moments: a wedding is a gathering of people, and you do not fly over one.

4. 04

   Delivery

   You receive your footage — edited if you took the editing option — then your free set of photo prints. I do not promise a lead time on this page: ask in your request, and I will answer you straight.

To combine on the same quote

Add photo, a 360 capture or editing: everything is ticked in the same request. None of this has a fixed price, it is all priced in the quote.

• Professional photos

  A set of photos you can use right away, framed for the purpose you told me about.

• Aerial drone shots

  Views from above, subject to the permissions applicable to the site on that day. I check feasibility before pricing.

• Filming the DJ and the stage

  Footage of the stage and the DJ, on top of the room itself. The gear involved exists in a single copy: I check my diary before answering you.

• Sound and light rig

  Speakers, lighting and a technician on site, with my partner. I remain your only contact.

• Vinyl turntables on site

  The turntables set up for the night. I own a single pair: I look at my diary before committing.

• 360 capture

  An immersive image you can look around in. Handy to tour a place or relive a moment.

• Video editing

  Editing after the shoot, back at the workshop. It is priced separately and commits you to nothing here.

• Paper prints

  Printed photos, to hand out on the night or to send afterwards.

When an event calls for a full rig, I work with VLK Events, based in Lyon: speakers, lighting and an on-site technician. Here are a few of their set-ups.

On top of that: equipment to rent

Would you rather hand a camera to a best man or maid of honour? The Insta360 X6 films in 360° without a camera operator, the DJI Osmo Pocket 4P follows the speeches handheld and the GoPro HERO 12 Black takes whatever the dance floor throws at it. The DJI Mini 5 Pro can be rented too, but recreational flying is forbidden over a gathering of people: no flying over the guests. Damage and theft cover is included on cameras and drones. For the rushes shot by your friends and family, our online editing service takes over.
