Before you fly this drone
- During the rental you are the UAS operator: you are the one who registers, not us.
- Operator registration is free and takes about fifteen minutes online, with the civil aviation authority of your country of residence (AlphaTango in France). It is required even below 250 g, because the drone has a camera.
- The operator number you receive must be marked on the aircraft: we supply the label, you write your own number on it.
- In class C0, no exam. With the XXL battery, the free A1/A3 online training must be passed before the flight.

XXL Batteries - DJI (A1/A3 training required)+4,00 €Batterie haute capacité qui prolonge fortement l'autonomie du drone DJI Mini (jusqu'à environ 45 minutes de vol). Attention : avec cette batterie le drone dépasse 250 g, ce qui le fait passer en classe C1 : voler en C1 exige la formation en ligne A1/A3, gratuite, à passer sur AlphaTango (il n'existe pas de « permis C1 »). Sans cette batterie, l'appareil reste en classe C0 et aucune formation n'est exigée. DJI précise que cette batterie n'est pas commercialisée ni autorisée en Europe.
Important — regulationsWith this battery the drone goes over 250 g and no longer meets the conditions of its class C0. Three consequences: the A1/A3 attestation de suivi de formation (proof of online training) becomes mandatory — free, online, 40 questions, taken with the civil aviation authority of your country of residence (the DGAC training site in France); you must carry it during the flight; and you may no longer fly over people — the allowance specific to class C0 no longer applies. Allow 1 to 2 hours for the training and the exam, to be passed before collection, not on the morning of the flight. Two readings of the rules coexist on this precise case and ours is the more permissive one: if you want a fully settled framework, take the standard battery — the drone stays below 250 g and in class C0.
