How does it work? In 4 steps.

Book each item
Pick the date on each item’s page and tick its options: microphone, batteries, mounts. The equipment you book is held for your dates.
Collect the equipment
Everything can be collected in Lyon 3, by appointment. As an option, the sound gear is delivered to the venue, up to 100 km from Lyon; in France, cameras and drones can also arrive by parcel the day before.
Party
The music plays, the guests fill in the instax guest book, the 360 camera films the dance floor.
Return the equipment
The sound gear is returned in Lyon 3, or picked up at the venue with the delivery option. Cameras and drones are returned in Lyon or sent back with the prepaid label, dropped off at a post office.

What each item brings to the wedding

Three parts to combine as your day requires: the sound, the pictures, and whatever you would rather leave to us.

The sound system

The RCF ART 912-A pair of speakers runs on mains power: it is the one for the reception hall. The Soundboks 4 runs on its battery, for a drinks reception or an outdoor ceremony. The Pioneer XDJ-RX3 controller plays the playlist, and a Shure SM58 microphone can be added as an option to the controller or the Soundboks 4, XLR cable supplied and stand included free, for the speeches.

The sound gear is never sent by parcel: it is collected in Lyon 3, every day by appointment, or delivered and picked up at the venue, as an option, up to 100 km from Lyon.

All the sound equipment

The pictures

The instax WIDE Evo makes a guest book: guests print their photo and stick it in the album. Set on a stand, a 360 camera films the whole dance floor without a camera operator, and you choose the framing afterwards. The drone films the venue before or after the party: a gathering of guests is never flown over.

Filming a wedding with a drone: the rules

Or leave the day to us

If nobody wants to hold the camera, Fox Rider also films and photographs weddings, on quotation. Your own footage can be edited by our editing service, and your photos printed as instax WIDE or 10 × 15 prints.

Why Fox Rider exists

You take the equipment for exactly as long as your project lasts, and no longer: DJI drones, GoPro, Insta360 360° cameras, instax, turntables and audio gear. It leaves checked and complete. And when it ships, the return box and its prepaid label are already inside.

Frequently asked questions about wedding equipment

Which sound system for a wedding: the RCF ART 912-A pair or the Soundboks 4?

The RCF ART 912-A pair runs on mains power: it suits the reception hall. The Soundboks 4 runs on its battery, up to 40 h at half volume and 6 h at full volume according to Soundboks: it follows the drinks reception or an outdoor ceremony. The Pioneer XDJ-RX3 controller is hired separately to play the music.

Can I have a microphone for the speeches?

Yes: a Shure SM58 microphone can be hired as an option with the Pioneer XDJ-RX3 and with the Soundboks 4, XLR cable supplied and microphone stand included free.

Can the sound equipment be delivered to the reception venue?

Yes, as an option: we deliver and pick up the sound equipment at the venue, up to 100 km from Lyon, at the rate shown on its page; beyond that, on quotation via the Contact page. Otherwise it is collected and returned in Lyon 3, every day by appointment, free of charge. It is never sent by parcel.

Can I fly a drone during the wedding?

Not above the guests: a gathering of people must never be flown over, and the Lyon area has several restricted zones. The drone films the venue before or after the party, with the owner’s agreement and after checking the zone map. For aerial shots on the day itself, our video service on quotation assesses each venue case by case.

Is the hired equipment insured?

Damage and theft cover is included in the rental price for all gear (cameras, drones and sound). For cameras and drones, a security deposit taken when you order is returned once the gear has been checked on its return. For the sound equipment, the security deposit is left on site at handover, or paid online before pickup or delivery if Fox Rider sends a payment link: it is only held in the event of damage, theft or loss, then returned when you bring the gear back.

When should I book the wedding equipment?

As soon as the date is set: the calendar on each page shows the free days, and the equipment you book is held for your dates. The sound gear is hired by the day or for several days, like the cameras and drones.
