How many days to rent? Actual durations
This is the most difficult box on the reservation form, and the one that costs the most when you make a mistake. Rather than a review, here's what our customers actually choose: 73 rentals billed between June 7 and August 13, 2026.

Overall, the average is 9.3 days and the median is 7 days. But the most requested duration is 3 days: 12 rentals out of 73. A significant portion of our customers therefore choose a duration much shorter than that of the majority — and this is rarely the right calculation.
Why three days is rarely the right choice
Our prices are decreasing over the total duration, and the reduction is strong. On a Insta360 X5 :

Going from 3 to 7 days costs €30.36 more, or €7.59 per additional day: less than a third of the price of the first three days. On a GoPro HERO 12 Black , the difference is even clearer — €59.90 for 3 days, €74.90 for 7, or €15 for four more days.
Two models where the second day is free
On the GoPro HERO 11 Black and on the Insta360 X4 , one day and two days are charged at the same price: €41.40 for the HERO 11, €46.60 for the X4. If you are hesitating between these two durations on these models, the question does not arise.
How many days for which project
- A dated event — wedding, competition, concert: 3 to 4 days. The package arrives the day before the first rented day, so take the day before as a margin.
- Holiday: length of stay, plus one day. The last rented day is the day on which the return package must be dropped off, not the day you return home.
- A trip or road trip by drone: our customers usually spend around 10 to 12 days on the Mini 4 Pro and the Mini 5 Pro , and the price proves them right.
- DJ equipment: 7 days maximum, with personal collection in Lyon only.
The general cap is 62 days for cameras and drones.
The two days that are not filming days
This is the most common error. Your rental begins on the first day chosen and ends on the last day inclusive, the date on which the return package must be dropped off at a relay point. If you book Saturday - Monday for a weekend, Monday is a logistics day, not a filming day. Booking an extra day costs a few euros; missing Sunday costs the weekend.
If you were wrong
Up to 72 hours before the start of the rental, you can postpone or extend your dates from your customer area, subject to availability. The extension is billed at the decreasing rate of the total duration — 10 days plus one gives the rate of 11 days, not the rate of 10 increased by a full day.
