Amazing experience! I rented a DJI Mini 5 Pro for my road trip and it truly transformed my journey. Single service or combined services: how to choose
A single service, à la carte, at Fox Rider means one service requested from its own page: DJ, event sound, wedding photographer or videographer, drone shots, 360 capture of a building, video editing or photo printing. Each page uses the same quote form, already set to that service, and you can still tick other services there.
À la carte or combined: what is the difference?
À la carte, you start from one service and its page: its questions, its starting price, its explanations. Combined services bring several services together in a single request and a single quote, with a sliding discount from the second one: 10%, then 20%, then 30% on the cheapest ones. Equipment rental and travel are not discounted.
Describe your needs or set each option?
The form offers two levels, on every page:
- just describe what you need: a few words and a way to reach you are enough
- choose your options in detail: short questions, only about what you tick, and an estimate as soon as the date, the length and the venue are filled in
Which services are paid online?
Video editing and photo printing, as 10 × 15 or instax WIDE prints, are ordered and paid for online, without a quote. The other services go through a free, handwritten quote: nothing is charged before you accept it.

Frequently asked questions
Ask a questionHow much does a photo or video service cost?
The base rate is €80 including VAT per hour, with a one-hour minimum, the same for photo, video and 360 coverage of an event. It may be adjusted to suit the project. Drone shots and 360° building capture have their own packages, at launch prices. Travel is included within Lyon itself; elsewhere it is priced on the quote. Beyond one day, everything is done on quote.
Do I have to pay a deposit to request a quote?
No. No card is requested, no deposit or down payment: nothing is charged until you accept the quote, which is free and written by hand after checking the schedule. The invoice is issued after the job, and the request can be cancelled until the service has taken place.
How is the quote put together?
You describe your event in the form: what you are organising, the venue, the date, the time on site and the options you want. I check my schedule and feasibility, then write the quote by hand, with labour and travel shown separately and its period of validity. The slot is held once you accept in writing.
Do you travel outside Lyon?
Yes, anywhere in mainland France. Travel is included for addresses within Lyon itself, arrondissements 1 to 9; elsewhere, including Villeurbanne, Caluire, Bron or Vénissieux, it is estimated on screen from the round-trip travel time (€40 an hour), fuel and tolls extra. The actual price is set on the quote. Services spanning several days are also priced on quote.
Can I add video, drone or prints?
Yes. The form offers video, editing, 360 coverage, aerial drone shots (subject to venue permissions) and paper prints. On-site services are charged by the time spent there, at €80 including VAT per hour; drone shots and 360° building capture have their own launch packages. Sound and lighting installation is done with our partner VLK Events, on quote.
Do prices drop if I combine several services?
Yes. In the same request, the most expensive service stays at full price, the 2nd gets 10% off, the 3rd 20% and each one after that 30%. The discount shows in the summary and on the quote. Equipment rental (sound system, turntables, instant camera) and travel are not discounted.
