Amazing experience! I rented a DJI Mini 5 Pro for my road trip and it truly transformed my journey. Being able to capture all those incredible spots from the air gave me images and memories with a completely different perspective. For a concert, a show or a big party, Fox Rider has the stage, sound and lighting set up by its Lyon partner VLK Events. You describe your needs and your programme in a single request, Fox Rider coordinates with the partner, and the free quote arrives before any commitment: ticking the box books nothing.
What can you request?
The form lets you tick what you need, together or separately:
- a stage
- sound
- lighting
A free-text field takes the programme: artists, times, expected number of people, venue constraints. The more precise it is, the more precise the quote.
Who are VLK Events?
A Lyon team that puts on parties in and around Lyon: barn weddings, birthdays in function rooms, open-air festivals over several days. It brings the equipment, the lighting and the team that stays on site during the party. It is a partnership, not a sub-rental: its equipment is not part of the Fox Rider catalogue. How much does it cost?
There is no published price list: the price depends on the stage, the power of the sound, the lighting, the duration and the venue. The form therefore shows “on quote”. If the partner is not available on your date, you are told rather than left waiting.
With a DJ or video capture?
Yes, in the same request. A DJ runs the party, a wedding videographer or 360 video capture films it. For a simpler party, event sound delivers the pair of RCF ART 912-A speakers or the Soundboks 4 to the venue, and sets them up if you wish.

Ask a questionWho sets up the stage, sound and lighting?
Our partner VLK Events, in Lyon. It is not a sub-rental: its equipment is not part of the Fox Rider catalogue. You make a single request, Fox Rider coordinates with the partner, service by service, and sends you the quote.
Does ticking the box book the partner?
No. The box is an expression of interest, discussed before the quote is sent: it books nothing and commits no one. If the partner is not available on your date, you are told rather than left waiting.
How much does a photo or video service cost?
The base rate is €80 including VAT per hour, with a one-hour minimum, the same for photo, video and 360 coverage of an event. It may be adjusted to suit the project. Drone shots and 360° building capture have their own packages, at launch prices. Travel is included within Lyon itself; elsewhere it is priced on the quote. Beyond one day, everything is done on quote.
Do I have to pay a deposit to request a quote?
No. No card is requested, no deposit or down payment: nothing is charged until you accept the quote, which is free and written by hand after checking the schedule. The invoice is issued after the job, and the request can be cancelled until the service has taken place.
How is the quote put together?
You describe your event in the form: what you are organising, the venue, the date, the time on site and the options you want. I check my schedule and feasibility, then write the quote by hand, with labour and travel shown separately and its period of validity. The slot is held once you accept in writing.
Can I add video, drone or prints?
Yes. The form offers video, editing, 360 coverage, aerial drone shots (subject to venue permissions) and paper prints. On-site services are charged by the time spent there, at €80 including VAT per hour; drone shots and 360° building capture have their own launch packages. Sound and lighting installation is done with our partner VLK Events, on quote.
Do prices drop if I combine several services?
Yes. In the same request, the most expensive service stays at full price, the 2nd gets 10% off, the 3rd 20% and each one after that 30%. The discount shows in the summary and on the quote. Equipment rental (sound system, turntables, instant camera) and travel are not discounted.
