They rented from Fox Rider
Rating: 5 out of 5
Louis, the manager, is very responsive and accommodating; the equipment is state-of-the-art and exactly as ordered. The Insta360 X6 camera is truly incredible!
Rating: 5 out of 5
I needed a last-minute rental (because it was impossible to find in Lyon), and they immediately answered the phone to confirm they had what I needed (a dive housing for the Insta360 X4) available. I picked it up the same day in two minutes. Returning it was quick and easy too. Impeccable service, I recommend them 100%!

Amazing experience! I rented a DJI Mini 5 Pro for my road trip and it truly transformed my journey. Being able to capture all those incredible spots from the air gave me images and memories with a completely different perspective. The service provided by Fox Rider was impeccable from start to finish. They were very accommodating, available, and understanding, which is really appreciated when you're traveling. I highly recommend them, and I wouldn't hesitate to use their services again for my next trip!

Wedding, party, company, property: what I cover
Real estate drone: aerial photo and video, packages
Fox Rider's real estate drone service is aerial shooting entrusted to a pilot: photos and video of a property for sale, an estate, a building site or an event, in mainland France. Three packages at launch prices, from €136 incl. VAT: photos of a property, photos plus a one-minute film, or a 2-hour event with a 3-minute film. Flying depends on the site's permission, checked before confirmation; travel is extra.
How much does a drone real estate video cost?
You choose the package by what you want to show:
- Property photos: aerial views of the property and its grounds.
- Photos and a 1-minute film: the same views, plus a short film that places the property in its surroundings.
- Event: 2 hours on site and a 3-minute film.
The amounts shown above are launch prices, all taxes included. Travel is added and priced on the free quote, which alone is binding. Aerial photography for a property, requested together with a 360 virtual tour of the same property, gets the multi-service discount.
A pilot for your shoot
Each flight is carried out by a pilot, the "remote pilot" in drone terminology. You receive the images, with no flight formalities on your side: the permission for the site is checked before the service is confirmed.
Real estate drone in Lyon and across mainland France
Fox Rider is based in Lyon and shoots aerial footage of a property in Lyon as elsewhere in mainland France; travel is added and priced on the free quote. The Lyon area has several restricted zones, hence the check of the site before any confirmation.
Who checks the flight permission?
Fox Rider, before confirming the job. Some sites cannot be flown over, or only under conditions: restricted zone, the vicinity of an airfield, the presence of the public. If flying is not possible at your address, you know before accepting the quote, and nothing is charged before you agree.
An event filmed from the sky
The event package covers 2 hours on site and delivers a 3-minute film. Shots are taken around the crowd, never above it: a gathering of people is not flown over. For a wedding, the wedding videographer offers drone shots as an option, with the film of the day.
What should you mention in the request?
Give the exact address and anything that complicates the flight: difficult access, hours imposed by the site, a permission to apply for, the presence of the public. What has not been mentioned cannot have been priced. Ticking aerial shots is not a flight permission: feasibility is checked case by case, and the result also depends on weather and light.
Which files do you receive?
You say in the request what you want to receive: edited photos, an edited film or raw files. The format, delivery time and how long the files stay available are set on the quote; the extent of the usage rights for the images is specified in writing.
Rent a drone or entrust the shoot?
To fly yourself, the drone rental of a DJI Mini, class C0, is booked online; you then register as an operator and fly under your own responsibility. The service entrusts the aerial shooting to a pilot: you receive the images, with no flight formalities on your side.

Frequently asked questions
Ask a questionHow much does a photo or video service cost?
The base rate is €80 including VAT per hour, with a one-hour minimum, the same for photo, video and 360 coverage of an event. It may be adjusted to suit the project. Drone shots and 360° building capture have their own packages, at launch prices. Travel is included within Lyon itself; elsewhere it is priced on the quote. Beyond one day, everything is done on quote.
Do I have to pay a deposit to request a quote?
No. No card is requested, no deposit or down payment: nothing is charged until you accept the quote, which is free and written by hand after checking the schedule. The invoice is issued after the job, and the request can be cancelled until the service has taken place.
How is the quote put together?
You describe your event in the form: what you are organising, the venue, the date, the time on site and the options you want. I check my schedule and feasibility, then write the quote by hand, with labour and travel shown separately and its period of validity. The slot is held once you accept in writing.
Do you travel outside Lyon?
Yes, anywhere in mainland France. Travel is included for addresses within Lyon itself, arrondissements 1 to 9; elsewhere, including Villeurbanne, Caluire, Bron or Vénissieux, it is estimated on screen from the round-trip travel time (€40 an hour), fuel and tolls extra. The actual price is set on the quote. Services spanning several days are also priced on quote.
Can I add video, drone or prints?
Yes. The form offers video, editing, 360 coverage, aerial drone shots (subject to venue permissions) and paper prints. On-site services are charged by the time spent there, at €80 including VAT per hour; drone shots and 360° building capture have their own launch packages. Sound and lighting installation is done with our partner VLK Events, on quote.
Do prices drop if I combine several services?
Yes. In the same request, the most expensive service stays at full price, the 2nd gets 10% off, the 3rd 20% and each one after that 30%. The discount shows in the summary and on the quote. Equipment rental (sound system, turntables, instant camera) and travel are not discounted.
