Louis, the manager, is very responsive and accommodating; the equipment is state-of-the-art and exactly as ordered. The Insta360 X6 camera is truly incredible!

I needed a last-minute rental (because it was impossible to find in Lyon), and they immediately answered the phone to confirm they had what I needed (a dive housing for the Insta360 X4) available. I picked it up the same day in two minutes. Returning it was quick and easy too. Impeccable service, I recommend them 100%!

Amazing experience! I rented a DJI Mini 5 Pro for my road trip and it truly transformed my journey. Being able to capture all those incredible spots from the air gave me images and memories with a completely different perspective. The service provided by Fox Rider was impeccable from start to finish. They were very accommodating, available, and understanding, which is really appreciated when you're traveling. I highly recommend them, and I wouldn't hesitate to use their services again for my next trip!

We rented a drone for our stay. Everything was received without any problems, even the day before the rental started! The drone was in perfect condition, and Louis was incredibly helpful with any questions or requests! I highly recommend him.

Wedding, party, company, property: what I cover
Event photographer and videographer: party, birthday, recording
Fox Rider sends a photographer or a videographer to a party, a birthday or another event, in Lyon and across mainland France. Time spent on site sets the price, at the base rate of €80 incl. VAT per hour, one hour minimum, adjusted to the project. The quote is free and written by hand, with no card and no deposit.
Event photographer: what does the report cover?
The photo report follows the event and its guests, from the arrivals to the highlights of the evening. In the form, you give the hours on site, from 1 to 14 a day, and what to photograph: the event and the guests, portraits, a venue or products.
Event videographer: keepsake film, short videos or full recording
Three deliverables to choose from in the request: a keepsake film, short videos for social media or the full recording of the event. Filming is charged by time spent on site; the length and style of the film are specified on the quote. Already filmed it yourself? Video editing can also be ordered online, from your footage.
Birthday or private party photo and video
For a birthday, a family celebration or a private party, the same form applies: the date, the venue and the time on site. For music and sound, add a DJ or sound system hire in the same request; to let guests photograph each other, the instax WIDE Evo can be rented, see the polaroid rental.
Event video recording: aerial shots and 360
As options, aerial shots by drone, subject to the venue's permissions and never above the guests (see the drone shots), and 360 capture of the event, charged at the same hourly rate as photo and video.
How much does an event photographer or videographer cost?
On site, time spent sets the price: €80 incl. VAT per hour, from 1 to 14 hours a day, and on quote beyond one day. Travel is included within Lyon proper, districts 1 to 9; elsewhere, it is estimated from the round-trip travel time, then set on the quote, fuel and tolls not included.
When one request combines several services, a sliding discount applies from the second one; equipment rental and travel stay outside the discount. For an event in Lyon, the page on the photographer and videographer in Lyon details the local offer.
Information updated on 20 October 2026.

Frequently asked questions
Ask a questionHow much does a photo or video service cost?
The base rate is €80 including VAT per hour, with a one-hour minimum, the same for photo, video and 360 coverage of an event. It may be adjusted to suit the project. Drone shots and 360° building capture have their own packages, at launch prices. Travel is included within Lyon itself; elsewhere it is priced on the quote. Beyond one day, everything is done on quote.
Do I have to pay a deposit to request a quote?
No. No card is requested, no deposit or down payment: nothing is charged until you accept the quote, which is free and written by hand after checking the schedule. The invoice is issued after the job, and the request can be cancelled until the service has taken place.
How is the quote put together?
You describe your event in the form: what you are organising, the venue, the date, the time on site and the options you want. I check my schedule and feasibility, then write the quote by hand, with labour and travel shown separately and its period of validity. The slot is held once you accept in writing.
Do you travel outside Lyon?
Yes, anywhere in mainland France. Travel is included for addresses within Lyon itself, arrondissements 1 to 9; elsewhere, including Villeurbanne, Caluire, Bron or Vénissieux, it is estimated on screen from the round-trip travel time (€40 an hour), fuel and tolls extra. The actual price is set on the quote. Services spanning several days are also priced on quote.
Can I add video, drone or prints?
Yes. The form offers video, editing, 360 coverage, aerial drone shots (subject to venue permissions) and paper prints. On-site services are charged by the time spent there, at €80 including VAT per hour; drone shots and 360° building capture have their own launch packages. Sound and lighting installation is done with our partner VLK Events, on quote.
Do prices drop if I combine several services?
Yes. In the same request, the most expensive service stays at full price, the 2nd gets 10% off, the 3rd 20% and each one after that 30%. The discount shows in the summary and on the quote. Equipment rental (sound system, turntables, instant camera) and travel are not discounted.
Photographer or videographer for a birthday or party: what should you include in the request?
Give the date, the venue, the time on site (from 1 to 14 hours a day) and what you want to receive: photos, a keepsake film, short videos for social media or the full recording. The quote is written by hand after the schedule has been checked, and nothing is charged before you accept it.
