I needed a last-minute rental (because it was impossible to find in Lyon), and they immediately answered the phone to confirm they had what I needed (a dive housing for the Insta360 X4) available. Amazing experience! I rented a DJI Mini 5 Pro for my road trip and it truly transformed my journey. Being able to capture all those incredible spots from the air gave me images and memories with a completely different perspective. Class C0: what under 250 g changes for you
- No exam: in class C0, the A1/A3 training is not mandatory. It is still recommended; in France it is free and online.
- Operator registration is still required, because the drone has a camera, with your country of residence. In France it is free, online and takes about fifteen minutes. It is then valid across the whole EASA zone.
- In C0, the European regulation allows flying over people not involved in the flight; never over a gathering, and local rules, in towns especially, apply on top.
- With the XXL battery offered as an option on the Mini 4 Pro, the drone goes over 250 g: the online A1/A3 exam becomes mandatory before the flight (free in France).

Delivered to 9 European countries
Belgium, France, Germany, Italy, Luxembourg, Monaco, Netherlands, Portugal and Spain. Outside France, the outbound leg costs €32 to your door or €18 to a pickup point, and the return €18. In France, the drone arrives the day before your flight, or can be collected free of charge in Lyon.

You take the equipment for exactly as long as your project lasts, and no longer: DJI drones, GoPro, Insta360 360° cameras, instax, turntables and audio gear. It leaves checked and complete. And when it ships, the return box and its prepaid label are already inside.

Contact usIs damage and theft cover included?
Yes, in the rental price (except Netherlands and Portugal), with our partner Tulip. It covers accidental damage and theft involving forced entry or assault. For a covered claim, only the model’s security deposit remains payable by you (€150 to €250). It does not cover gross negligence, breakdowns or purely cosmetic damage.
How is the security deposit refunded?
The security deposit (€150 to €250 depending on the model) is charged when you order, then refunded via Revolut within 5 business days of us receiving and checking the drone. It is only withheld in the event of a claim or of a breach provided for in our rental terms.
Do you need a licence to fly a drone under 250 g?
No. There is no licence in the open category, and in class C0 no exam is required in the European Union. Only operator registration is mandatory, because the drone has a camera; in France it is free and online. With the XXL battery offered on the Mini 4 Pro, the drone goes over 250 g and the online A1/A3 exam becomes mandatory.
Who has to register the rented drone?
You do: during the rental, you are the operator. In France, registration is done on AlphaTango, the civil aviation portal: free, about fifteen minutes, number issued immediately, to be marked on the drone. If you live in another European country, register there: your number is also valid in France.
Which countries do you deliver drones to?
To 9 countries: Belgium, France, Germany, Italy, Luxembourg, Monaco, Netherlands, Portugal and Spain. Outside France, the drone goes to your door or to a pickup point, with a prepaid return label (drop-off at a post office in the country). Free pickup in Lyon is reserved for deliveries in France.
Is my operator registration valid in other countries?
Yes, across the whole EASA zone: the 27 EU countries plus Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway and Switzerland. You register once, in your country of residence. Monaco is not part of it and requires an approval; insurance and zones also vary from country to country, everything is in the drone annex.
