Sound Packs to Rent in Lyon

A pack brings together sound gear that already works as a set: RCF ART 912-A speakers, RCF SUB 15-AX subwoofer, Pioneer XDJ-RX3 controller. Its price is the sum of its items, multi-item sound discount included (−10% on the 2nd item, −20% on the 3rd, −30% from the 4th), and every pack can be completed with options before it goes to the cart.

Five packs and their options

Each pack shows its power, its value new, a cautious capacity estimate and its availability. Tick an option: the price, the table by duration and the security deposit follow, calculated as in the cart. "Choose my dates" opens the pack page: your dates first, then the options and a summary before the cart.

Questions about sound packs

Ask a question
How is the price of a pack calculated?

It is the sum of the rents of its items for the chosen duration, with the sound discount: −10% on the 2nd item, −20% on the 3rd, −30% from the 4th, applied to the cheapest ones. Options (mic, Bluetooth connector, headset) are added at catalogue price. The cart works out the same amount.

Can I change a pack?

Yes. On the pack page, choose your dates, then tick other sound items as options (RCF SUB 15-AX subwoofer, Technics SL-1210 MK2 vinyl turntables, DJ booth, Soundboks 4…), each at its own rental price: the summary and the total follow before you add it to the cart.

Can a pack be delivered and set up?

Yes, on quote: choose delivery to the venue or set-up in the booking tool, in mainland France. Otherwise, free pick-up in Lyon 3rd, every day by appointment, from 9 am to 8 pm.

For how many guests?

Each pack shows a cautious estimate, indoors and outdoors, drawn from the RMS power published by the manufacturer for a dance party. It varies with the room, open air and the volume you want; our blog gives other guidelines and the team answers your questions before you rent.

Is the gear insured, and how does the deposit work?

Yes: the sound equipment is insured against damage and theft by our partner Tulip, like cameras and drones, and the insurance is included in the price, with no paperwork and no extra charge; each item’s page shows whether it is covered. The deposit on DJ equipment is taken as a card pre-authorisation, through a link sent before pick-up or delivery: it is not charged, only held in the event of damage, theft or loss, and released when the gear comes back in the same condition. It amounts to 10% of the replacement value of the sound gear rented, excluding VAT, rounded up to the next multiple of €50, and it is separate from the rental price.

Sound pack rental in Lyon: which pack to choose?

For a sound pack rental in Lyon, Fox Rider puts together five line-ups from its own gear: the pair of RCF ART 912-A speakers, the RCF SUB 15-AX subwoofer and the Pioneer XDJ-RX3 controller, with mics for the wedding. A pack has no price of its own: it is the sum of its items, with the sound discount, calculated as in the cart.

Pack L and Pack XL: the speakers

The Pack L rents the RCF ART 912-A pair, for background music or a small party; the Pack XL adds the SUB 15-AX subwoofer for dancing. The Bluetooth connector is an option, to play from a phone.

Pack DJ L and Pack DJ XL: for mixing

The same speakers with the Pioneer XDJ-RX3: the Pack DJ L without the subwoofer, the Pack DJ XL with it. DJ booth, Technics vinyl turntables, headset and mic are options.

Wedding Pack: music and speeches

The Pioneer XDJ-RX3, the RCF pair and two Shure SM58 mics (XLR cable supplied), subwoofer ticked by default: the line-up is on the Wedding Pack page. All the gear for a wedding is on the wedding equipment in Lyon page.

Pick-up, delivery and security deposit

The gear is picked up free in Lyon 3rd, every day by appointment, or delivered and set up at the venue, on quote. The security deposit is taken as a card imprint, not charged; breakage and theft cover is included in the rental price for gear marked “Covered for damage and theft”. To size the gear for your guest count, read speakers for 100 people: the right guidelines.
