Pickup and return on site in Lyon 3 only (Click & Collect) — the gear is handed over in person at the Fox Rider point, 2 Impasse du Lutin, 69003 Lyon, and you bring it back to the same place at the end of the rental. No shipping (Chronopost or pickup point) for this gear. Delivery and collection at the event venue are available on quote.

What event is the Pack XL for?

For a dance party, an indoor birthday or a club party: the RCF SUB 15-AX subwoofer delivers the bass you expect on a dance floor. For background music, the Pack L is enough.

How do the speakers and the RCF SUB 15-AX subwoofer connect?

The source plugs into the RCF SUB 15-AX subwoofer, which sends the signal on to the two speakers through its XLR outputs; cables are included. For a phone, tick the Bluetooth connector / sound card.

For how many people?

About 160 people indoors and 80 outdoors. This is a cautious estimate drawn from the RMS power published by the manufacturer: 20 W RMS per person indoors and 40 W outdoors, for a dance party, rounded down to the nearest ten. The room, open air and the volume you want will change it.

How is the price of a pack calculated?

It is the sum of the rents of its items for the chosen duration, with the sound discount: −10% on the 2nd item, −20% on the 3rd, −30% from the 4th, applied to the cheapest ones. Options (mic, Bluetooth connector, headset) are added at catalogue price. The cart works out the same amount.

Can a pack be delivered and set up?

Yes, on quote: choose delivery to the venue or set-up in the booking tool, in mainland France. Otherwise, free pick-up in Lyon 3rd, every day by appointment, from 9 am to 8 pm.

Is the gear insured, and how does the deposit work?

Yes: the sound equipment is insured against damage and theft by our partner Tulip, like cameras and drones, and the insurance is included in the price, with no paperwork and no extra charge; each item’s page shows whether it is covered. The deposit on DJ equipment is taken as a card pre-authorisation, through a link sent before pick-up or delivery: it is not charged, only held in the event of damage, theft or loss, and released when the gear comes back in the same condition. It amounts to 10% of the replacement value of the sound gear rented, excluding VAT, rounded up to the next multiple of €50, and it is separate from the rental price.

Sound system rental with RCF SUB 15-AX subwoofer in Lyon: the Pack XL

The Pack XL brings together what it takes to get a room dancing: two RCF ART 912-A speakers on stands and the RCF SUB 15-AX subwoofer, with all the cables. Its price is the sum of its items, sound discount included, calculated as in the cart.

Why a subwoofer?

The RCF ART 912-A speakers render voice and midrange precisely; the SUB 15-AX subwoofer handles the low end, where a speaker alone runs out of breath. On a dance floor, it is what gives the energy. Our article stands, cables and volume helps you place it all.

Mixing with the Pack XL

The Pack DJ XL adds the Pioneer XDJ-RX3 controller, which plays music from a USB stick without a computer. For background music only, the Pack L does without the subwoofer.

Pick-up and transport

The subwoofer weighs 31.4 kg and each speaker 19.5 kg: plan on a car for the pick-up in Lyon 3rd, by appointment from 9 am to 8 pm. Fox Rider can also deliver, set up and collect the gear at the venue, on quote.
