Pickup and return on site in Lyon 3 only (Click & Collect) — the gear is handed over in person at the Fox Rider point, 2 Impasse du Lutin, 69003 Lyon, and you bring it back to the same place at the end of the rental. No shipping (Chronopost or pickup point) for this gear. Delivery and collection at the event venue are available on quote.

Do I need a computer with the Pack DJ L?

No: the Pioneer XDJ-RX3 plays music from a USB stick. The free DJ Set tool prepares the stick from your tracks; it needs a free Fox Rider account.

Which options can I add to the Pack DJ L?

The DJ booth to set the gear up facing the room, the pair of Technics SL-1210 MK2 vinyl turntables connected to the XDJ-RX3, a Sony WH-1000XM3 headset and a Shure SM58 mic (XLR cable supplied) with its stand. Each option shows its price and availability on this page.

For how many people?

About 100 people indoors and 50 outdoors. This is a cautious estimate drawn from the RMS power published by the manufacturer: 20 W RMS per person indoors and 40 W outdoors, for a dance party, rounded down to the nearest ten. The room, open air and the volume you want will change it.

How is the price of a pack calculated?

It is the sum of the rents of its items for the chosen duration, with the sound discount: −10% on the 2nd item, −20% on the 3rd, −30% from the 4th, applied to the cheapest ones. Options (mic, Bluetooth connector, headset) are added at catalogue price. The cart works out the same amount.

Can a pack be delivered and set up?

Yes, on quote: choose delivery to the venue or set-up in the booking tool, in mainland France. Otherwise, free pick-up in Lyon 3rd, every day by appointment, from 9 am to 8 pm.

Is the gear insured, and how does the deposit work?

Yes: the sound equipment is insured against damage and theft by our partner Tulip, like cameras and drones, and the insurance is included in the price, with no paperwork and no extra charge; each item’s page shows whether it is covered. The deposit on DJ equipment is taken as a card pre-authorisation, through a link sent before pick-up or delivery: it is not charged, only held in the event of damage, theft or loss, and released when the gear comes back in the same condition. It amounts to 10% of the replacement value of the sound gear rented, excluding VAT, rounded up to the next multiple of €50, and it is separate from the rental price.

The Pack DJ L combines the all-in-one Pioneer XDJ-RX3 controller and the pair of RCF ART 912-A speakers: everything you need to mix a party without a computer, cables supplied. It is picked up in Lyon 3rd or delivered to the venue, on quote.
