Pickup and return on site in Lyon 3 only (Click & Collect) — the gear is handed over in person at the Fox Rider point, 2 Impasse du Lutin, 69003 Lyon, and you bring it back to the same place at the end of the rental. No shipping (Chronopost or pickup point) for this gear. Delivery and collection at the event venue are available on quote.

What event is the Pack DJ XL for?

For a dance party with a DJ, amateur or experienced: the XDJ-RX3 to mix, the RCF speakers for the room and the SUB 15-AX subwoofer for the bass. For a calmer event, the Pack DJ L does without the subwoofer.

How does the Pack DJ XL connect?

The XDJ-RX3 plugs into the RCF SUB 15-AX subwoofer, which sends the signal on to the two speakers through its XLR outputs; all cables are included. The optional DJ booth brings the controller up to height, facing the room.

For how many people?

About 160 people indoors and 80 outdoors. This is a cautious estimate drawn from the RMS power published by the manufacturer: 20 W RMS per person indoors and 40 W outdoors, for a dance party, rounded down to the nearest ten. The room, open air and the volume you want will change it.

How is the price of a pack calculated?

It is the sum of the rents of its items for the chosen duration, with the sound discount: −10% on the 2nd item, −20% on the 3rd, −30% from the 4th, applied to the cheapest ones. Options (mic, Bluetooth connector, headset) are added at catalogue price. The cart works out the same amount.

Can a pack be delivered and set up?

Yes, on quote: choose delivery to the venue or set-up in the booking tool, in mainland France. Otherwise, free pick-up in Lyon 3rd, every day by appointment, from 9 am to 8 pm.

Is the gear insured, and how does the deposit work?

Yes: the sound equipment is insured against damage and theft by our partner Tulip, like cameras and drones, and the insurance is included in the price, with no paperwork and no extra charge; each item’s page shows whether it is covered. The deposit on DJ equipment is taken as a card pre-authorisation, through a link sent before pick-up or delivery: it is not charged, only held in the event of damage, theft or loss, and released when the gear comes back in the same condition. It amounts to 10% of the replacement value of the sound gear rented, excluding VAT, rounded up to the next multiple of €50, and it is separate from the rental price.

Complete DJ sound system rental in Lyon: the Pack DJ XL

The Pack DJ XL is the most complete DJ sound system Fox Rider rents: the Pioneer XDJ-RX3 controller, two RCF ART 912-A speakers and the RCF SUB 15-AX subwoofer. The price follows the sound discount, calculated as in the cart, and each option is added with one tick.

A simple set-up

The controller plugs into the subwoofer, which feeds the signal to the two speakers standing on their stands on either side of the dance floor. XLR, RCA and power cables are supplied; our article stands, cables and volume gives the right settings.

The DJ options

A DJ booth to work standing, facing the room, the Technics SL-1210 MK2 vinyl turntables to mix records, a Sony WH-1000XM3 headset and a Shure SM58 mic (XLR cable supplied) for announcements. To choose, read which DJ gear for a birthday or a private party.

Pick-up or delivery

The gear is picked up free in Lyon 3rd, every day by appointment from 9 am to 8 pm; the subwoofer is heavy, plan on a car. Fox Rider can also deliver and set up at the venue, on quote. Without a subwoofer, see the Pack DJ L.
